Where do I get my treatment?

Mobile IV Care is a mobile platform, meaning we can administer your treatment whenever, wherever. Our professional registered nurses arrive with all the equipment needed for service. We also mix our solutions right in front of you, making sure you see and are aware of all the ingredients being used in your IV blend. We bring all of the equipment required.

How does IV Treatment work?

Intravenous (IV) fluid drips deliver saline solution through a small catheter and tubing directly into the bloodstream. This solution usually includes medications and vitamin supplements that are tailored to the individual patient. During therapy, the nurse inserts an IV line which is attached to a bag of saline solution. The bag is then hung above the patient’s head. IV therapy bags are designed to let gravity, as opposed to a syringe or other forced technique, carry fluid into the veins over time. The duration of a single treatment varies from person to person but typically lasts 45 minutes - 1 hour.

Our IV Treatment Process

Throughout your infusion treatment, our nurses will guide you step by step to ensure you feel safe and fully informed about the vitamins and fluids entering your body. Typically, the first appointment takes about an hour from start to finish, but for repeat or regular clients, the process can be much quicker.

Following your online or text booking, you will receive a confirmation message for the first appointment.
An intake form from IntakeQ will be sent to you via text as well. The form will include a series of questions about your health and medical history.
For the first appointment you will be scheduled for a brief Good Faith Exam which is a thorough telehealth appointment that takes from 5 to 7 min. This can be arranged at your convenience, before your IV infusion appointment if booked in advance.
The process, facilitated by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant, is quick and straightforward. This is a mandatory procedure at the initial appointment, per the state regulations, following any major medical changes, to ensure you are safe and qualify for the infusion treatment.
Be advised that there will be an annual $29.99 charge that applies to the good faith exam, and must to be paid even if you are not cleared for treatment. Should you have any questions regarding this process, feel free to reach out directly.
Just before your appointment, expect a text notification with an estimated time of arrival (ETA). In case of any unexpected delays, timely updates will be provided.
When the nurse arrives, they will introduce themselves, and there might be a brief discussion about the ordered package or any questions the client may have.
After reviewing the intake form filled out and verifying that there are not any contraindications, vitals are obtained.
The IV infusion is prepared. IV access is obtained.
Any products that can be pushed are pushed. Initially, the drip starts slow. After everything is pushed, the IV fluid is opened up to flow freely.
The average person takes 45-60 minutes for the infusion. If it is a more difficult stick and a smaller needle is used, the infusion may take longer.
The nurse remains with you the entire time until the end when another set of vitals is obtained.

When the infusion is complete, the IV is removed and wrapped appropriately
